About
Scott is a working artist, farmer, writer and observationist. A life long jack of many trades he has worked in a variety of mediums over the past 20 years. From traditional lithography and oil painting to readymade multimedia collage and video art. Born in 1987, Scott has always been lured by the ocean; finding humility and respecting it as the dominant force on our planet. This deference to nature and a desire to become immersed in it led the artist on ventures to remote islands, vast deserts, floodplains, rainforests, mountains and maritimes-- constantly observing nature, mankind included, against the geologic rate of the landscape.
The tension between mankind and nature, has become the sublime. The ocean still rages both on the surface and on the sea floor; above us only sky.

“Look at it out there, battering, crawling up and down. And underneath all that, the
fish, the poor fish fighting each other, eating each other. We're like those fish, only we're up here.”
—Charles Bukowski
